This is a simply wonderful romance novel. While most series tend to lessen in quality in the later books, Singh avoids the dip with this book and kicks this series into a new level of goooood.

What Singh does so wonderfully in this book is give us a romance focused book while forwarding the plot arc of the series. This book promises that in the rest of the books of the series we will be living in a new reality. In essence, we get a brand new series with new rules as the Psy come out of Silence.

Wow! Just wow!

This book is definitely about the 2 MC's with the Pure Psy making their presence felt in the second half of the book.

I'm usually not enamoured with books focused solely on the couple with not much happening, but this is absolutely an exception. Ms Singh can write a grocery list and I'll buy it and love it.

This book still had a huge emotional impact 3 yrs after I initially read it. This is a great character driven story.

We learn what made Kaleb Krychek, the dual telekinetic & telepathic Cardinal Psy, the ruthless, cold blooded, manipulative, former Councillor, a very, very dangerous man. For 7 yrs he has been quie

I have been waiting for Kaleb's story for what seem like forever. I loved getting to know how he became the person that he is now. I also loved experiencing him being in love, even though he didn't feel he was worthy or that he could love, but he did it and showed it so effortlessly.

He is that great combination of alpha-bad boy-with a heart of gold.

All that love I feel for Kaleb, is all well and good, but I didn't give this 5 stars because I thought that the big change that took place in the ps

Heart of Obsidian answers many of the questions that have floated throughout this series. Very good answers that verified many of the hints given previously.

***This book will not stand alone, you need to read the previous eleven books to understand much of what happens in this twelfth part of the Psy/Changeling Series.***
