I wanted to like this more than I did, but Lena made it hard! I didn't like the games she played with William, I can accept them from a teenager, but not an adult. She's supposed to be grownup but she behaved like a spoiled teenager throughout the book. She never took a reasonable decision. Her games cost William Blade’s and Honoria’s trust. I quite liked this book. Lena and Will make a good pair and I really enjoyed the overarching plot. Their romance was tender and sweet, but also very sexy. And I really liked the ending. The heroine of My Lady Quicksilver was introduced in this book and she was very intriguing. I can't wait to see how she pairs with Jasper.
