Really like the characters, but you need a score card to keep track of who's who, who's good & bad, and who belongs with who (I did like having the characters from the other books pop in). Starts with a funny scene with Styx & Roke & Viper, but then changes to Caine & Cassie & the adventure begins. This one is about Caine & Cassie, and stopping the Dark Lord. This is one of those series that I'd probably forget if you asked me to name my favorites but I have enjoyed every book in it. That said, this was not one of my favorites, but it hit a personal pet peeve so if it's not your pet peeve you'd likely enjoy it more than me.
