Amazing. Absolutely wonderful. I listened to both this book and Daughter of Smoke and Bone and the narrator brings this story to life. She does an amazing Zuzanna voice, and she portrays Karou's character beautifully.
Days of Blood & Starlight was a lot bloodier than the first book and at times I found it just a little gory for my tastes. The story itself is mesmerizing and I would just put on the headphones and relax to this story.

I would give it 4 stars if the first half of the book wasn't so confusing and kind of slow.
After 50% things get better but the overall feeling still isn't quite so good like the 1 book made me feel.
Or maybe i am just still affected by the previous trilogy i was reading
(and liking a lot) so everything after that fades out a bit..
Any way,it is a good read and i will seek out the final book when it's out (in some distant future- 2014 i believe). ...more
