I feel like I have waited forever for this book to be released and now I finally get to read it.
I love Cat and Bones and I can't get enough of them and I really looked forward to this next adventure.
I really need to give Jeaniene Frost some points she has managed to create a fantastic world and characters I don't think I ever can get tired of.
I like how Cat has matured and how she really think about the consequences to her actions instead of just jumping into the fire, but I still miss the old C ...more

Boo-hoo.
Well, I guess, it was OK. The plot goes round and round in circles. Most of the book is a travel down the memory line filled with sentimentals and nostalgia. The interactions between characters are several types: "You are cool. - No. You are cool" and "I'm the best. - I'm the best of the best. - I'm the best of the best of the best".
This part of the Grave has some Deja vu feel to it. Because some parts were already in some of the other books I've read.

Cat's coming into her own. Love the way Cat and Bones relate to each other. Slowly, but surely. Mencheres and Vlad have decent decent size roles in this one. Spade and Ian not so much. This does make me look forward to Vlad's story (do recommend reading in order- using the "Night Huntress Universe" order)
Never really though of using hot candle was in THAT way before.
Marie is intriguing. Could be an interesting story there.

This one is a solid 4 stars for me. I don't love this book as much as the others. Don't know if the fact that I should have read the Night Huntress World 1&2 has anything to do with it. May be. Having said that it's still really good. However, it lacks the intensity of the Cat N' Bones that I love.

This book was a little off for me. I mean, I liked it, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the previous books. There seemed to me that there was a lot more violence. There were a few things that irritated me in this book. So it will probably be a while before I read the next one, but I will read it. ...more
