Yep i still feel the same about the series as i did when i first read them.
I love it.
Not for everyones taste.
It's the continuing story of Merry Gentry and her struggles to stay alive. have heaps of sex with whoever reacts to her magic ring. and try to get pregnant.
It is so much more than that. you have merry Bringing people into their powers. yes there is a fair bit of violence, and i would not reccomend these books to someone with a weak stomach.

Books 1 and 2 are the best in the series in my opinion. Merry's entourage is still pretty small in this book and she still has her own life in LA. I liked the introduction of Maeve Reed and the fact that her men were still fairly unique from one another in this book. The Nameless was an interesting construct, but it did seem to be a little deus ex in the end.

I liked the first book in this series, but I didn't have the same pull to finish this one as I did in the first. I only read it half-way through.
