The 2 star rating I gave Kiss of Shadows is not necessarily for the storyline or the characters. I love anything Fae/Seelie/Unseelie, but the writing was just SO DAMN SLOW. I found myself accidentally skipping pages (or chapters) because I pick up the book 20 pages later and the same exact description is going on. While I love reading about what the characters are wearing, I don't need to know every single time they walk in a room and I definitely don't need to know more than a paragraph or sent ...more
