I read this story in the BDB Insider's Guide and it is such a beautiful story of what happens after the HEA. I (like so many other BDB series fans) love Zsadist and Bella and their against all odds love story. This is J.R. Ward at her best! ...more

JR Ward tends to add completely irrelevant and unnecessary parts from secondary or even less important characters in her stories. We are reading about our heroes' struggle on one page and then we move over to the good doctor's thoughts about his job... I get it, it's good to get a feel for the doc but come on. I didn't need to know his life's story or his thoughts about his nurse, which we'll probably never meet again (and whose name we've already forgotten, too).

Great addition to the Black Dagger Brotherhood series! This answers the questions I had left over from Zsadist and Bella's story. Other than Tohrment, this is my favorite couple from the series. It is nice to have that extra glimpse into their lives. Well done! ...more
