While this was a good book, for most of it it felt like a completely different series than book one. Other than two of the characters having the same names nothing really carried over. Even the personalities of Gaia and Leon were unrecognizable for the first 3/4 of the book. Even with that, as I said above, this was still a good read.

Didnt love it. Gaia was annoying this book - she took stands but her reasoning was a bit odd each time, and this made for a difficult read. The love square was ridiculous and I must admit I was a little disappointed in this book.

So, I just reread Birthmarked, as I wanted to finish this series, however, after finishing it, and looking at the review of the other 2 books in the trilogy, it seems like it might not be a good use of my reading time.

I stayed up most of the night finishing this. Compelling characters and plot twists, kept me flipping pages. It's good to know the author left a couple of bread crumbs about what's to come in "Promised."

Didn't have a finish date on this so I just added one so I can keep track of my books read in 2013.
