What Members Thought

Initial Thoughts; 4.0-5.0 stars. I am so sad that this series has to end. And wow, what a way to end a series. I feel conflicted. I am sad it's over and pleased that it was done so well.
The Review:
Banishing the Dark is a perfect ending for one of my favorite series. In Banishing the Dark, Cady and Lon's relationship is tested as Cady undergoes a memory spell in order to protect herself from her mother. Oh, I really felt for Lon who could not fill in the blanks for Cady!

It's one of my favorite series and I'm very sad that it had to end after only 4 books. In many respect it is difficult to keep up the quality of a story and stretch it over many books. I think it was the right time to close but I still wanted more....maybe a spin-off pretty please.

Fantastic end to one of my forever favourite series. I wish there were more books but it ended in such a great way it would be greedy of me to ask for more... Sigh.
I will most certainly miss these characters: Cady, Lon, Jupe, and Kar Yee. Also everyone in between that played their part.

So I've been putting off reading this book because I just wasn't ready for the series to be over. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Cady, Lon & Jupe. Unlike a lot of series that run out of gas, this one being over in 4 books felt perfect, a little too short but mainly that's due to wanting to spend more time with the characters, the story was completely wrapped up.

Yay! What a trip! :) thank you Jenn Bennett fort his awesome series!
I read this book right after the 3rd book. Seriously that 3rd book kept me hanging. It's really an ending book. No new story. So you better read this series in order. :)
HEA check.
Sex scene, check.
Crazy villains, check.

Wow!! That is the way to end a series. Still, I'm sad that it's over :(
Cady Bell, is slowly recovering from the murderous acts of the previous book and sending her parents into the Aethyr. She isn't prepared, however, for her mother trying to take over her body, whilst she's asleep. She also isn't prepared to find out that she's expecting.
To hide that fact from her mother she has Lon use a memory spell but it takes a little more than either of them bargained for.

The book was amazing, but I'm disappointed that it ends the series as I'd love to spend more time with Cady, Lon and Jupe.
Cady's got to stop her mother from taking over her body by finding out the secrets of her conception. This leads to some very interesting information and to Cady getting more comfortable with her own knacks.
And I'm super happy there was a nice, long epilogue.
