I have always been a fan to the Lords of the Underworld and was really looking forward to this spin-off. Maybe it should be a more solid 4 stars but since I like most of the others books I have read by her I hope the next one will be even better.
Zacharel's army (20 about to fall angels) is unruly and some of the characters are downright interesting. Sure there is the awesome trio Xerxes, Bjorn and Thane with dark and tortured past. I wonder if they could put Paris to shame...

I really enjoyed this book. I have enjoyed all Gena Showalter's books and so it was nice to see a new series started. I look forward to reading the next book.

It is once in a blue moon that I abandon a book 1/2 through. I love my cheesy paranormal books, but this book was absolutely boring.
