I am a bit disappointed with this one as I feel Kalen and Mac's story need more time to grow. Kalen comes across as a boy and he is no heroic "Man". There are many examples thru out the book that left me disappointed as I like my hero to be "real alpha men". Kalen for me was far from that. In the beginning of the book he was involved in a bar fight because he looks like a kid that can be bullied and that was what that was about, oh and he was rescued from that fight with Mac looking on with her ...more

This book is about Kalen & Mac, but with plenty of other stories going on including the overall battle vs Malik.
