Novella-length start to a futuristic-y, shifter romance series from a publisher that churns out these types of series like butter. Having said that, this one was well written and I enjoyed the attention to detail the author spent on the human and wereshifter inhabitants of Alpha Colony. Nice erotic shape shifter read with the start of a interesting science fiction world being built around the government playing around with animal DNA. Unlike, the Species series or the Breed series, we don't seem to have years of experimentation but rather a colony and soliders who don't even know they have been tampered with. We also have full shifters here instead of just animal traits.

This one is about Sasha & Grayson. Interesting twist on shifters, some humor, lots of sex, but a abrupt ending. I like the characters and the humor. I'll give the next book a chance, and hopefully the story moves along. The book needs to be longer to fill the story out a little more. ...more
