I like the world and the overall plot and I loved Stone the gargoyle but I really, really hate the evil-ex trope. Not that we know Chase is evil per se, but given how few women Allie has in her world vs. how many men I just wanted it to go a different way. Anyway, I did like it overall and I'm willing to give it some time to see if that plot line maybe goes a different way. ...more
