There's a perfect time for each book to be read. So when the next book in a series I'm avidly following finally comes out, I don't read it right away when I'm currently hang up on a different series.
As such, the perfect timing for archangel storm arrives. I find myself amused on the first few chapters of it. Might be because of Jason's quiet, understated arrogance that I love and Mahiya's immunity and understanding to it. I felt the love all throughout. It was subtle, quiet, and honest. It warme ...more

Jason has been one of my favorite of the seven and I loved his story! His is such a sad history, but it makes the present-day story that more sweet! I hadn't read a book in this series in quite a while, but Nalini Singh has such of way of writing the worlds she's building and the characters in them that I didn't feel like I forgot anything along the way. She cleverly reminded me without rehashing the entire story.
I love learning more about Jason and see him slowly come to care about someone outside of the cadre. I knew it would take someone who could accept him for who is without expecting him to change. And no one deserved the love and prot ...more
