Beginning: WOW! This is going to be another amazing book! That 2nd book curse sure didn't happen here!
About 1/4 way through: Ummmm, where did that kick ass book go I was talking about a few chapters ago? Maybe it's just a little hiccup, it'll pick up again, I have faith!
