I loved, loved, loved the audio book version of this book. The narrator does a wonderful job and her voice is both expressive and relaxing. She really brings all of the characters to life and captures the mood well.

I went into DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE expecting not to like it. That awful cover and plus it's an angel book. I have read many angel books, many I tell you and almost all of them I did not like. I picked this book up after hearing SO. MUCH. ABOUT. IT. It seemed like everybody was talking about it...so I read it.
And, yeah - it's pretty darn good.

It has been a long time since I've devoured a book. This book was seriously so good. Can't wait till September when Days of Blood and Starlight comes out.

3.5 stars. I really liked the ending when everything tied together, but the book was pretty confusing at parts. I didn't like how it kept switching between different times. It was like the author wrote the story in order, then mixed up all the chapters.
