This is the third book of the series and along the way we find out a little more of the secondary characters such as Vlad & Mencheres.

We go from the usual vampire assassinations to Cat's father nearly killing her and that's just the beginning of the book.

Various power sharing, deaths, takeovers, zombies & Egyptian "Goddesses" later we come to the crux of the book - Justina is coming to like the "filthy animal", Bones after he once again saves her life (surely only for Cat's sake). ...more

With this book, Jeaniene Frost has moved herself into my list of favorite authors. Wow! This was just...AWESOME! BONES!! *holds up sign* Will you marry me?! LOL Thank you KC aka Smokinhotbooks for being my personal bookpusher and getting me to read this series! There is a LOT of goings on in this book and...I almost cried!
