After feeling more than frustrated with the way things ended in Halfway to the Grave, the 1st book in this series, I was more than anxious to read this 2nd installment. Well, it didn't start very well and my frustration only grew with each chapter I read until I was ready to scream. I know all about the need some readers have to tease the readers and build tension and anticipation, but it was too much. Come on, nine whole chapters following Cat, her team and her "new" friend Denise around withou ...more

It's been four years since Cat left Bones behind to protect him from her new life. Now Cat is head of an FBI team dedicated to hunting down the more homicidal vampires. However, Cat has a price on her head and each hunt gets her closer and closer to being caught. Only Bones can save her, but if he finds her he won't let her leave again...ever.

This is the second book in the Night Huntress series (after Halfway to the Grave) and I was really looking forward to reading it. There's a huge gap betwe

Everything you could want from a book: action, romance, mystery and humour. So sad that it took years for Bones to find Cat again and I was so happy when they got back together. Looking forward to reading At Grave's End. ...more

This is a fantastic series, and I enjoy Frost's writing style. The plot is smooth and steady. The characters are freaking hysterical, and the main couple have a interestingly steamy chemistry.
Cheers and Happy Reading!

It's been four long years since Cat left her former life and Bones. Now working as agent Catrina Arthur and living as Cristine Russell. Both names can be attributed to Bones (aka Crispin Phillip Arthur Russell III). Yes, she's still pining away for the one she let get away. Ian is next on her list of vampires to dispense of for her job. Turns out, however, he's the Ian who turned Bones into a Vampire. Torn between loyalties she has a decision to make. Very fun read. ...more
