What a fun ride J.A Saare took us on. The Renfield Syndrome starts right where Book one left off with Rhiannon. The whole book was non-stop action and page turning questions. What will Rhiannon do? Will she find Disco? Is everyone alive?
The end.. God Ms.Saare what are you doing to me!!
I've gotta say that I loved Rhia at the end. I thought she stayed true to herself, and I admired her during the aftermath. ...more

I didn't like the first on very much. I thought Disco was too soft for a romantic lead. In this one he's pretty much absent and Rhiannon has some interesting adventures without him.
Although, I think parts of the book were filler, like the parts with Carter and Justin, and some parts were a bit unclear, I thoroughly enjoyed this second novel. Her tragic childhood has left her angry and mistrustful and her sister heavily medicated in a psychiatric ward. On top of all this she is a necromancer and can see ghosts.
Rhiannon is my kind of UF heroine. She is emotionally damaged, but he ...more

This book was a challenge to read, the beginning was just plain wrong and Rhiannon was really whinny and annoying. However it did get better towards the end. I will read the next one because I'm just too curious not to. ...more
