I haven't read a story set in this world that I haven't loved. Briggs continues to develop her world with each book, and in a way that's seamless with the story being told.
In the latest installment, the werewolves are still trying to put their best foot forward to the public, and Charles has been busier than ever being the wolves' enforcer, which puts a strain on him and his relationship with Anna.

Something is wrong with Charles. Anna is the only one to see it. She tries to intervene on his behalf, only to be dismissed. It isn't until she bring it up with another werewolf, that Bran decides to have Charles do other things too. This leads them to Boston. They go to consult with the FBI. There is a serial killer targeting supernaturals.

fter reading this sentence I knew I was going to love this book, as well as Briggs. Fair Game is the third book in Patricia Briggs's Alpha and Omega series, and the first Briggs' book I have read. I am a big dark Urban Fantasy fan and people have been telling me for years to try her books, and let me just say I was not disappointed. Even though I jumped into this series at book three, I had no problem immersing myself into the impressive world Briggs has created and her unique characters. She is

Wow. That is gutsy. I did not expect that ending at all. It blows my mind the changes this will bring.
Mercy also lives in that world; I wonder how the events of this book will effect her and Adam's pack.
Gives me shivers just thinking about the span of it all.
This book is a game changer.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Leslie.
This third installment of the Alpha and Omega series begins with an introduction to wicked fae and an innocent little girl. The prologue quickly returns us to the Marrok, Charles and Anna. Wow! This book started off slow and depressing and ended with a bang. The implications from the ending are really interesting, although I don't know how much focus there will be on it in future books. I think she needs to start a new series, because I know I would like to know a lot more about it.
I always enjoy reading about Charles and Anna. I like that Anna has really come into her own and is willing to push for what she thinks is right. Bran is a complicated but interesting character as alway ...more
