Second time around, and still an engaging story from start to finish. I love the opening scene, from there it unfolds at a nice pace with a lot of world building without all the tedious info dumping.
The characters while drawn have yet to be fleshed out to their full potential. Having read a big chunk of this series already I do know that will come later. People kept telling me I'd enjoy Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series but I procrastinated starting it for whatever reason. Now I'm kicking myself. One of the most well thought out and original series to come along in a while.

It was okay. Harry was amusing and James Marsters' voice on the audiobook certainly was nice, but I'm not sure I'd run out and get the next one.
