Not sure what to rate this book. Very different from my normal books. Not a bad story, but will not continue with the series. Read it because it was the BOM of one of my other groups. Had way too much kinky stuff - whips and what not(which I had no idea prior to reading and is something I don't particularly care to have included in the stories I read) and had a guy romance which doesn't particularly appeal to me. Okay, I'm enjoying this book for the most part - but I think that Morgan is going to give me a migraine before this is over. Her decisions are driving me crazy and why doesn't she trust Brian with the truth if he's supposedly this touchy-feely, loving, understanding guy?

interesting take on demons, probably the only urban fantasy book in a long time, that i was able to read without rolling my eyes. Recommend it for those who are sick of Laurell K. Hamilton's books but still feel the need for some urban fantasy. ...more
