Enjoyable lead and secondary characters. It got a little rushed at the end, but I liked the world this was set in. Easily would have worked as a series (this is a stand alone).

Un libro muy, muy entretenido, con todos los tópicos de la magia pero de una manera muy "mundana", incluidos los prejuicios y la división entre buenos y malos en la comunidad mágica. Shelves: magic, kindle, fae, shifters, vampires, paranormal, uf, dragon

Alex runs for coroner of her small town on a bet and wins. But the first body has something odd about it.

What I enjoyed:
* So after having a mental breakdown (thinking her stepmother was a demon), Alex learns magic is real.
* There are definitely some interesting characters in the mix
* Is a great setting for a new series, with Alex just learning about her powers while helping out the Precinct

What could have been better:
