WHY would you end a book like that?!
Sydney and Adrian's story continues and this time we get to see into Adrian's mind as well as Sydney's. They are both pretty complex characters and it was very interesting seeing things from Adrian's point of view, from his intense feelings, to his struggle with spirit and its effects. Sydney is vastly improved from her previous-books' self, but she still had a couple of moments of intense stupidity.

In a word, this book was intense. Sydney and Adrian's romance was very intense and burns bright and hot. I just love them together and I think they make such a good match. I couldn't believe it, but this series has really taken a nosedive for me. I bought this book when it first came out last year and should have taken the hint when I stopped halfway through (I was in a reading slump and attributed it to that), but (view spoiler).
