This book was much better. Less drama, more character development, and a great story line. I wasn't upset with the ending so much, because it felt like growth of our Heroine and understanding the seriousness of her job. I felt it was a necessary sacrifice. I also enjoyed the bond between the group after the tragedy. Again, there was no cliff-hanger, but I did want to jump into the next book immediately. I'd fallen in love with the characters and story, and didn't want to wait to move on.
