I almost really loved this one. It's #4 in the series but I didn't feel that I was missing anything by not reading the first three books.
The characters are fun, Ellina is a half demon recluse and Jude is hired by her brother as her bodyguard. There is good chemistry between the two and it was fun to watch their relationship grow.

Another Kindle Freebie, this book was okay. A slightly different take on Vampires, which was a nice change. There wasn't a whole lot of plot in this book and was pretty easy to figure out. Another new author for me though and I might be tempted to go read some of her other books.
