It is no accident that there is a steady stream of music themes in Maggie Stiefvater's stories as I feel like I am floating along in a lyrical song when I read her writing.
I loved the character James in this series. He is funny and sarcastic and someone I would totally crush on. Dee, who I really liked in the first story just pissed me off in this one. She was selfish and mean to James and after everything he did for her.

Nothing to write home about. I liked the James/Nuala storyline, but I'm not the biggest fan of alternating POVs. And I know that it's a James book, and not a Dee book, but I felt like I was missing a chunk of important story without anything from her besides some lame texts. I know I complain a lot, but I did like the story, and the relationship that James and Nuala developed was entertaining.
