I liked it. I would have liked it more if the point of view of the politics was less central DNC. Im pretty sure that Samuel Curtis is like a non Muslim Obama. Also that hand waving of "people can't handle the supernatural" was supremely annoying. Yes, people could. Everything balances, and if the was horror, there would be amazement. ...more

Christ on a cracker (oops, sorry Cade)! This book was a MASTERPIECE!! I loved it! Who knew the boogeyman from childhood could still send shivers down my spine. I forced my poor husband to sleep on the bedside closest to the door, and moved my Rottweiler's bed under the window! I cannot say enough spectacular things about this series. I can already feel withdrawal symptoms coming over me, I need a Cade fix soon!! Please, please, PLEASE Mr. Farnsworth hurry with the next book!! ...more

Red, White, and Blood lost a lot of the momentum gained with The President's Vampire. Too much of the storyline was taken up with the presidential campaign, and the Boogeyman wasn't a scary enough name for an an evil that never dies.

The ending was very interesting and made me anxious for the next installment. ...more
