I absolutely loved this book! This is such a terrific series with extremely well-written, enjoyable characters that get you learn more about with each book. Eli is my favorite of course, but Miranda and all the other supporting characters from human to spirits are so interesting and I want to know more about them all. I love the idea of everything having it's own spirit and personality, which makes it even more fun when Eli sweet talks them into doing whatever he wants them to. Of course in this ...more

As much as I love Eli Monpress, his cockiness bordered on stupidity in this book. Still, his charm and humor and unbeatable attitude made up for that. And I loved meeting his mentor. Unfortunately, one character can't save a whole book and everybody else...
