It's been awhile since I've read anything from this series, so I figured I'd better finish reading them before I forget the story line in entirely. It was a good book but it's a bit angsty for my taste. If I were in high school I would've been all over these but now that kind of angsty romance drama just sounds like a lot of work lol (I'm turning into an old fart I think). For an adult I would rate it three stars, but for a teenager it would've been four.

I swear for the life of me I cannot remember what happened in the previous book at all, but considering my review, let's say I was unimpressed. I am marginally more impressed with this one, and I have lost track of Jace's family names.
The thing that bothers me about Clare is the lack of ideas. This is all a fan fic copy of Harry Potter, Twilight? I don't remember, and now after ripping that off, she rips herself off by re-setting the entire brother-sister forbidden thing, this time from the even ...more
