Good ideas, liked many of the characters, and am intrigued by the world-building so far. I have been finding Galenorns books quite hard to get through - choppy in some places, and a little dull too. Hopefully book 2 will pick it up a bit.
Good start to a new series. It's a very interesting concept. And owls! I love owls. I wish I could fly.
