I picked this up for the prequel to the Madison Avery series and was pleasantly surprised by the rest.

The Exterminator's Daughter by Meg Cabot - 3 stars
Cute story. I liked the alternating narrators. Might read a book with the characters, just to see what happened to her mother.

I read Kim Harrison's story here so I could start her Once Dead, Twice Shy (Madison Avery series).

It was ok. Very YA... Somehow it's not what I expected from the author. I'm hooked on her Hollows series (dark urban fantasy). Since I this is just a short story, I didn't really expect much. ...more
