This review is only for Miss Cogeniality
I've read that short story twice, you'd think I'd eventually get to Cynthia Eden's story, right?
Even though this is Magnus Pack 4, it really takes place in the past. We met Irene Conridge and Niles Van Holtz in Go Fetch!, where they were already married, mated and had kids. But this is how it all started.
She was a bit like Miki in a way, except even more awkward around people, and I liked that Niles had been circling her for years, never making a move.

There are 2 stories, Miss Congeniality by Shelly Laurenston which was great!, I love the characters!
Van Holtz is so funny and sexy, very Alpha... and Irene is just the right amount of feisty without being a bitch.
Wicked ways by Cynthia Eden which wasn't as good, Cain was supposed to be this super Alpha shifter but came out as a jerk and Miranda was just all over the place, some of her reactions weren't brave but plain stupid. ...more

I picked this one up for the Shelly Laurenston story. It didn't disappoint! I really liked Irene and was glad to see her story.
