A cool bar, buff warrior wizards, and way-wicked-cool magic. Totally awesome premise, characters who worked through their "stuff" without being too whiney. Wait, this is 1.5 in a series? Where the heck is the first book? (Viva la eBooks!) I must know what happened before and what happens next. Did I skim? Nope

This novella was perfect to re-ignite my interest in this series. I started it a while back and I kind of forgot about it, because, well...the neverending amount of books being added to my TBR. And then I got this novella and remembered what I originally found appealing about this series. The magic, of course!
