The story continues with more of the same…and I mean that in a very good way.

This story begins where The Summoning ended and we still follows Chloe Saunders as the main character who struggles to find out what is happening, who she is and what she should do.
Chloe meets up with some of her new friends. Together they begin their journey towards safety and to find the answers to all their questions.

Amazing book. Great story and continuation from the first. Pretty much non-stop action. There was even a part where I had to make sure I hadnt started mistakingly reading a Stephen King instead as there was a part that was totally gross and even made me groan in disgust, which is hard to do as usually only Stephen King books get that priveledge.
I enjoyed this story as well as the character development. Look forward to reading the next one and find out what happens to everyone.

I enjoyed this more than expected. Based on the ending of the first book, I thought this was going to be much different than it was and I'm glad it went in the new direction. The gang's interactions are fun (especially the squabbling) and I like seeing their powers grow. This book also ends on a cliff-hanger, but that is somewhat expected in a trilogy. I'm looking forward to the next one. ...more
