I was so exited to read this book I couldn't wait but I was highly disappointed in the book it wasn't what I was expecting from Gena.
Through out the most book there was alot of talking and not alot of action going on and Jane character just seem so boring and plain like her name.

it was absolutely fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing where the rest of the authors who are writing for this series will go. I hope that they will give us an update on Nicki and Jane. I love these two together they are a perfect match.

When I first heard about this series I got very excited, 3 of my favourite authors and one new to me author each writing one book in a quadrilogy.

My Thoughts: I wanted to like this much more than I did. The premise of Nicolai trying get his memories back and seek revenge seemed good in theory but seemed to fall short. It felt like there were chunks of the story that were taken out in editting to meet a page count.
I also had a problem with how Nicolai seemed more caveman posessive than Alpha posessive. It made him harder to like than the story called for. I liked Jane more than I thought I would at the beginning. She seemed to ...more

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would.
Jane is a woman who has nothing left to live for, but keeps having dreams about a sexy vampire in chains.
Nicolai is the vampire sex slave who has no other desire except for revenge, or so we think. Turns out he's really a kitten trapped in a tigers body. He is a warrior that will do anything to protect Jane and keep her by his side forever.

This was a surprisingly fast, light read. Yes, Nicolai had a temper and ripped people apart but somehow it was gore-lite. There was a lot of subtle humor in the book. It seemed that Nicolai and Jane fell for each other way too quickly but (view spoiler) Jane was a strong heroine, in spite of a few well-earned tears. Nicolai was a devoted hero to die for. Hot.
