The Darkest Fire tells the story of Geryon, the Guardian of Hell who is responsible for ensuring the gate remained closed until a spirit needed to be cast inside and nothing escaped and Kadence, the Goddess of Oppression who fortified the barrier. They find love while trying to stop the horde of Demon Lords (violence, death, lies, doubt, etc) from escaping. In the end, the gods create he dimOuniak which ultimately holds them ... temporarily.

While I did read this out of order, I really liked this prelude to the Lords of the Underworld.
This book is hot! Smoldering hot! good romance.
