After a brilliant and very useful recap of Inside Out, this only got better. It found it's footing immediately and ran like the wind to the closing lines.

It was so jam-packed with action, betrayals and trickery I was exhausted just reading it. It wasn't simple either. I'm impressed Snyder could fit so much in (including technical detail) and I could still follow her throughout. Something I couldn't do with the first book.

I never knew who to trust. That seems to be a real theme that Snyder just

Apart from Trella's reluctance to accept responsibilities and take action without it being absolutely necessary, I really liked both her and her story.

Her world is in upheaval and she tries to distance herself from the mess and avoid being involved in the procedures following the riot, causing a whole lot of problems.

She gets banged up a lot, gets into heaps of scrapes and manages to do what she was needed to with help from her friends and some brilliant organizing skills and ideas of hers.

Outside In picks up six weeks post-Force of Sheep rebellion which occurred in Inside Out. Trella, used to being the Queen of the Pipes and now seen as victorious leader of the rebellion, is doing all she can to avoid any responsibility, most importantly aftermath clean up and reorganization of the Insiders.

The Insiders, now a combination of Uppers and Scrubs, find themselves under control once again. But, this time, instead of Pop Cops and the Travas, there's a Committee - "comprised of one rep

My Thoughts: I ended up liking this book more than I thought I would. I was curious what could be done considering they are living in this huge ship and cannot go anywhere else. The author managed a plot that worked with this and still seemed plausible with the situations. There were a couple of things I didn't like. There were too many flips in this book. Trying to figure out if someo

A little slow starting for me, but I think that was just because the first bit was talking about the events of Inside Out. Which to someone who hadn't read the first book recently that would be fine, but as I had only finished that book not that long ago it made the story creep along. I just wanted to get into the action of it. And when the action did start I was engrossed in it. I was left just as confused as Trell, I didn't know who was telling the truth and who wasn't.

I am interested to find

Great book 2, really liked the story, and we see more of each of the characters. Trella is less disconnected, and I liked the ideas for rearranging society at the end, hope it works!
