StCrow can really write a good story... At the previous book, Dru started getting annoying to me... Can't decide can't decide... pfft. At the start of this book, she was just pining away from what she took for granted. UGH... So yeah I sound like I'm ranting but promise it gets better. :) It's action filled and at one point matrix-y. It was a really good read. :)

This book is better than the last; clicks right along - the action is back. I must've missed what it takes to be bonded. How many times has Dru swapped blood with Chris? I like the Ash storyline, and Dru gets away from the Schola and the Council life. She never belonged there. Other reviews made me less than anxious to read this one, but it wasn't as bad as all that. I rather enjoyed it. Dru 'the badass' is making a comeback. Things I liked: (view spoiler)

Lilith St. Crow, you are a master!!!I love this series and think they got way better with every book. I find the last book coming to be bittersweet for me. I don't want it to end, but I want to find out what the end is!!! One of my FAVORITE series! A must-read!!!!Your publishers need to print the last one faster! ...more
Again, I love the fight scenes. Starts off with a bang and doesn’t really stop. Pauses maybe. Story progresses well and quickly and there were no boring moments. Love the relationship development on a few fronts and I feel for her loss and pretty sure I would be much more scared. Reading the next one right away.
Loved this series, reminded me of Twilight and VA
