Over all impression: Interesting read.
Writing style: gave a little bit of headache... It's sort of fast paced and there are rare moments of slow gibberish that threw me off. There was an enormous amount of world building, but we can't fault that since this is the 1st book in the series... and the concept of Grey is pretty confusing... :P Still it slowed the story down to almost boring. This book is very different from what I've read before. I enjoyed the different view of vampires, ghost and supernatural environments. It was a bit slow in parts but it was necessary for the story. Overall a very enjoyable read.
