I’m a little addicted to this series. I can’t say why, other than they are fun to read and a great escape. Green-Eyed Demon is the third book in the Sabina Kane series. In this installment, Sabina, Adam, and Gighul must rescue Sabina’s twin sister Maisie from her criminally insane grandmother Lavinia. And, oh yes, Sabina must save the world from Lavinia’s sinister plans to rid the world of mages, among other things.

This book is set mostly in New Orleans, which provides the perfect atmosphere for

Yes, I'm a bit disappointed in this installment of the series. It was veeeerrrry slow up until about half way through. Nothing was really happening, I felt like the story was stalling and almost going around in circles for that long, which was a bit boring. Even though Sabina was with Adam.

We meet some fae characters when the setting of this book switches to New Orleans. This might've been one of the good points. I loved "Pussy-Willow" (Brooks). His, or is it her, character was entertai

Review provided by Black Lagoon Reviews for Rex Robot Reviews:

Green Eyed Demon by Jaye Wells is the thrilling third novel in the widely popular Sabina Kane series. This wonderful urban fantasy series has a little bit of something for everyone: a kick ass half vampire-half mage heroine, a sexy side kick mage with romantic intentions toward said heroine, a wickedly funny demon and a wide cast of villains who threaten to unleash unimaginable doom upon the world. Add to that action, drama, romance,

Sabine, Adam and Giguhl end up going to New Orleans to find her missing sister and evil Grandmother.

What I enjoyed:
* The characters. This book takes place in New Orleans so we get to meet a bunch of new "people". Mac the shifter with a secret. Georgia the vampire who wants to help. Brooks/PW the fae who is also a drag queen. Zenobia the human who knows voodoo. Erron the rock star/mage with a tragic past.
* Giguhl/Gigi/Mr. Giggles - the mischief demon who also becomes a cat. He spends so much time

Green-Eyed Demon is the third installment in the Sabina Kane series. I initially read the first two books last year and remember liking them, but not too much beyond that. If you're like I was, somewhat ambivalent about whether or not to read on, I'd say the series is definitely worth continuing!

This is a series that gets better with each book, and I'm definitely a fan of Sabina and her crazy cast of sidekicks. When you combine fun characters, page-turning action, and witty dialogue, it makes f

After reading book two, I thought this series was going downhill fast. However, Green-Eyed Demon saved the series! I laughed out loud, cried, and wanted to read the next in the series. I really like the badass Sabrina and Team Awesome! The plot of this story kept me hooked. I wanted to read ahead to know what was coming. (I didn't, heehee, but I wanted to)

I gave this one 4 stars because sometimes I felt like the characters sounded the same, they didn't come off as individual characters. Adam ca

This is the third book in the Sabina Kane series and so far my favorite. I like the evolution of Sabina’s character and her developing relationships with Adam and Giguhl; she’s a bit softer in this book as she explores her inner self. Wow, that sounds a bit sappy and really the book isn’t that at all. It’s full of fast paced action as Sabina heads to New Orleans to find her twin sister. The addition of a drag queen, voodoo priestess, dwarf and werewolf all add to the complexity of this series.
