I'm growing more fond of Cat and Bones as the series continues. They both are completely badass. I loved the way this one ended! Like yay! I also enjoyed several other plot twists that ensure that I'll be reading the rest of the series and looking forward to how things continue to develop. So far I'm loving the direction everything is going. Can't wait to see what surprises Frost has up her sleeves for the next book!

Book Two of the Night Huntress series, was another good read. It continues the stories of our heroine, half vampire, Cat. In book one, she left her vampire lover, Bones, to keep him safe. Where did she go? She's still killing vampires, just for the government now.
She has her own team, and has really grown up since the last book, and started to let go of Bones. She even has managed to get a few friends (who don't really want her dead) and starts seeing someone. A human. But her friends getting ma ...more

Probably going to sound a bit like a teenybopper, but I love Cat and Bones together. I had forgotten how much happens in this book! It's just jam-packed with action, new characters, and the infamous chapter 32 ;)

This book is even more awesome than the first book in the series. This story is packed with action, humor, and sexual tension. Although Cat does annoy me at times she is a major ass-kicker in this book. She does continue to grow but she still has her insecurities when it comes to her relationship with Bones. Bones is just awesome enough said. I still can't stand Cat's mother. Anette was a bitch but I did like her character. All I can say about Chapter 32 is holy crap it's epic.

I enjoyed this very much. It was a great continuation to the original book. It takes place four years after so that was a bit different from what usually is the continuity thread. I am looking forward to the next one.
