Re-read 2011: I re-read in anticipation of reading the final book in the series. Still a five star book to me. Original Review 2010: This was my first book by Karen Marie Moning, but it definitely will not be my last. I found this book to be a fabulous read, full of action and intrigue. The world building that took place I found to be interesting without being overdone. The pacing seemed to unfold things nicely without leaving me feeling confused about what was happening. I love this series and it's always great to get to experience from the beginning again. Meeting Jericho Barrons & V'Lane for the first time and seeing both of their affects on Mac. Seeing Mac go from our beautiful, smart Rainbow Girl to the burgeoning woman who is going to be a total badass.

Love, Love, Love!!!

There she meets Barrons, owner of a bookstore and as enigmatic and secretive as he can be. Mac learns she is really a Sidhe Seer, and her dark journey begins.

I really like this series so far! The characters are great, and I really admire the heroine. She's well-developed, and her love for her sister is immense. She's willing to go so far into a foreign country to solve her sister's case once and for all.

Jericho Barrons? Don't like him so far. He is such a cold person...nothing but always pouting.

V'Lane? Give me a piece of that Fae! Gosh, he got me the second he entered the book.
