Oh, Ms. Karen Marie Moning, how could you?! How could you leave us hanging like that? How are we supposed to live without having a sense of closure after that roller coaster ride that was your book? That's just plain sadistic. No really.

This is the first book that I read from Moning. She has a very different writing style. Which it took me a while to adjust to. Also it took me a while get into the main character Mac. I found the world of the fae interesting. Moning really uses a lot of details build the world of the fae. There were a lot of good parts to the book but sometime I felt a little lost. Overall, the book was interesting, but I was not pulled into Mac world completely.

Boy, is this book good or what. I couldn't put it down till 3 am. Normally i'm not into paranormal stuff, but this example, "Stephanie Plum meets Harry Potter", has shaken my world.

Listening to audiobook. So far so good.

Still a great read the second time around. I'd forgotten about Mac's funny side comments, so had a few good laughs mixed in with the darker aspects.
