I started listening to the audiobook and although the narrator did an okay job, I had a really hard time getting into the story. I'd liked the first book of the series well enough and was kind of sad that I couldn't seem to like the second one.

After a while, I switched to the ebook and finally got into the story, really disliking Johanna from start to finish. Her decisions were selfish and not thought out at all most of the time and her reasoning and excuses were weak at best. I really couldn't

After reading the first book in this series, I could not wait to get my hands on the second one. With the way this one ended, I can not wait to read the third book. This series is different and I like it. The whole superhero twist always makes me laugh. Like what if Superman sat around reading a comic book about himself, what would he think and would he like how he was drawn? It's a different type of sci-fi and I like it. ...more

I plan to do a re-read of this series now that it is complete. I always just felt kind of meh about the story and am hoping that reading them back to back is more effective.
