Shelly Laurenston's writing cracks me up! I laughed my way through her Pack series and, after reading Here Kitty, Kitty! I couldn't wait to start her Pride series. Book 1 did not disappoint. In fact, it was smarter and better written.

★★★★☆ (This is a review of the audiobook.) Very nicely narrated by Charlotte Kane. My first SL book and, while I found the dialogue raunchy at times, I was alright with it. And I got the humor, too, although I could see it wouldn't be everyone's cuppa tea.

This is a book of two short stories. Christmas Pride was Mace, a lion shifter and Dez, a human cop's story, they knew each other when they were teens but haven't seen each other in 20 years but Mace has known she was his mate from the beginning. The second story is Shaw's tail. Shaw is also a lion shifter and he meets Ronnie Lee who is a wolf shifter.
