Interesting but frustrating urban fantasy about a half vampire/half mage assassin, Sabina, who has been brainwashed and lied to all her life by her powerful vampire Grandmother, the leader of the Dominae. Sabina is sent by the Dominae to infiltrate a rebel group but along the way Sabina realises the truth and starts to switch her allegiance.

I love when you finish a book craving the next in the series. That’s how things go with Jaye Wells’ Red-Headed Stepchild.

Wells weaves a tale of unending rejection, resolve in new friends and a chance for both redemption and revenge. (Go ahead, just order the book. It really is that good.)

I would give this 4 1/2 stars actually is really was very good...And this was my first time using an audio book, and I have to say I really enjoyed the experience...I am now already on the sequel "Mage in Black" also on audio book...I have to drive a lot daily so it really works for me...A lot faster than reading the book...It's like storytime for adults...lol:)
