A story full of intriguing characters, vile villains, and plenty of paranormal set in London 1804.
Voss was not above using his good looks, charming wit, and debonair style as a way to maneuver many a lady into a dark corner for some necking. This was my first Regency type romance book. It took a few chapters to kind wrap my brain around it, but once I did I enjoyed it. A lot of people slam Regencies for not being "true" to the period, does this book? I don't know or care .

I've mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed the time period. I strongly disliked Voss, and liked how Angelica didn't make things easy for him. He does redeem himself later. The ending was a bit surprising, unexpected.
