What Members Thought

I really do like this author.
I felt like the FMC's social anxiety was a little OTT at times, and also, as usual, I thought the MMC needed a kick to the nuts. And the FMC shatters those walls like they are made of eggshell. It's a formula that works for me. :) ...more

I really enjoyed binging the other books in Shea's Magiford series & trilogies, so I was excited when I spotted she'd expanded it yet again. Buuuuut, I had a really hard time sticking with this one. The characters were okay, but the inner dialogue was a bit much. Jade's "issues" were so minor as to not be mentioned more than twice much less as much as they were ... a LOT. I didn't feel any chemistry between her and Considine - more like fascination on his part.
